The Charcoal Project
As per now 13 refugees are involved in recycling the wastage of Charcoal in order to make more that will reduce the pressure on trees in Virunga National Parc. Here is the Charcoal made by refugees in Goma which aims at the following: Reduce pressure on trees, reduce home expenses and create employment for those who need jobs. The Charcoal is now on the market and there is a high demand currently but the team is lacking the necessary materials and funds to satisfy the clients.
This is the charcoal that is being made.
Refugee Community Meetings
This helps refugees to know each other, share information, access to accurate information, and focus for what is common among themselves. Our community meetings continue to attract more refugees who were previously living into hiding.

Tailoring Center for Refugees
Those who attend our trainings are generally refugee women who are motivated by the desire to acquire a skill in order to generate money by themselves.
